Mason County is located in the western section of Washington state. At the 2010 census, the population was 60,699. The county seat and only incorporated city is Shelton. The county was formed in 1854 and is named in honor of Charles H. Mason the first secretary of the Washington Territory.

MCSO, DOC and the regional SWAT team served a high risk warrant today off Arcadia rd. - two were taken into custody without incident. Oh, and the dog is safe and happy as well. Good job team keeping our community safe.
